Optimizing clinical workflows and performance is a primary goal for many healthcare organizations. Yet, according to HIMSS Market Insights, most of the optimization efforts haven’t been effective.
This webinar, presented by Hyland Healthcare and HIMSS, shares top insights from a survey of 115 healthcare leaders. You’ll learn strategies they’re deploying to improve patient outcomes, how they plan to optimize clinical workflows and the biggest obstacles they’ve encountered along the way.
Among the many interesting insights that are discussed:
- Of the survey respondents who said optimizing clinical workflows and performance is a top five goal, 61% haven’t been effective.
- Exchanging information with providers, payers and other stakeholders outside of the healthcare system is now the top obstacle, followed closely by managing unstructured content.
- On average, respondents are spending 17% of their work week searching for information stored outside of their core systems.
- 59% of the respondents are planning to use or investigating artificial intelligence and machine learning to deliver a more connected care experience.
