Alfresco updates

Alfresco adds support for Hyland Insight, enabling solution builders to add knowledge discovery and improved search solutions to enhance content-centric solutions. 

Together with Hyland Insight, Alfresco users can:

• Use a native Alfresco connector for Hyland Insight to enable bespoke knowledge discovery that delivers relevant responses and new insights from enterprise content 
• Enhance accuracy and enable validation of AI-generated responses by linking source documents and specifying information used to craft answers 

Alfresco customers also benefit from improved cloud storage configurability, Alfresco Mobile workspace customization options, and both improved developer experience and optimization guidance for Alfresco Process Services. 

Hyland RPA 24.2

Hyland RPA 24.2 delivers new RPA Attended Automation capabilities as well as expanded integration options. These enhancements make it easy to automate manual, rule-based, high-volume and repetitive data tasks where human touch does not add business value. Features include:

• New RPA Attended Automation that puts the power of task automation in the hands of the business users, enabling them to remain engaged in the core business process or application while the bot assists by performing related required tasks
• A new integration for Epic EMR empowers healthcare RPA solutions with no-code access to patient and encounter records
• New integrations for Textract, Twilio and Document Filters enhance business task automation with advanced features for interacting with documents and customer engagement systems

Hyland M365 Outlook Add-In 2.0.0 for OnBase

M365 Outlook Add-In 2.0.0 for OnBase provides the capability to import emails directly into OnBase while indexing each automatically. Users will see reduced import processing times and improved data integrity. Highlights of the enhancements include:

• Data is mapped from the email message to metadata fields and configured for content type
• Ability to use a hybrid approach where some emails can be set to automatically index while others are manually indexed

Hyland Cloud Self-Service Configuration for OnBase

With this initial release, experience an elevated level of control and configuration for Hyland Cloud customers. Cloud Security Administrators can now make changes to their solution as if they were managing an on-premises environment. With these enhancements, customers can:

• Make changes themselves versus support having to make changes on their behalf
• Drastically reduce the time required to troubleshoot issues
• Focus on building and expanding their solution rather than managing support tickets

Hyland for Workday

Hyland for Workday is an approved Built on Workday application that provides Workday customers the ability to capture, index, search, view, manage and retain content that is or needs to be associated to Workday records – directly from Workday screens. With this solution, customers can:

• Integrate content management capabilities directly within Workday screens without the need for custom development or middleware (Workday Extend)
• Use a single repository to manage and retain content and relate or link it across Workday applications, which removes silos for content that needs to be associated to Workday records
• Simplify with SSO logins to allow users to access and run the Hyland application by simply signing into Workday; plus, benefit from simplified permissions management using Workday security roles

AP automation updates

Hyland’s AP automation software solution has been enhanced to deliver even more impactful efficiency gain opportunities. Updates include:

• Additional mobile capabilities, including approval tasks for PO-based invoices and attaching supporting documents to invoices
• A new, modern and persona-based interface designed for AP staff to help them perform all required processing steps within a single client, screen and experience
• SAP-specific features, including integration with specific ERP system invoice types and processing, so users can process service order entry sheets and have the ability to block vendor payments and postings

Hyland Healthcare

Hyland Healthcare releases include:

• NilRead Image Sharing: Enjoy the power of NilRead Image Sharing without additional software such as PowerShare or Life Image to securely send and receive images from other organizations
• NilRead V25: Enhanced workflow efficiencies as well as clinical decisions with capabilities including tumor tracking and trending; anatomical registration; and mouse wheel display
• PACSgear Modlink: Technical updates that create web-based access for users across the enterprise
