New product! Introducing Hyland Intelligent Document Processing

Hyland’s newest product, Hyland Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), delivers AI-powered document capture, separation, classification and intelligent data extraction technology. This game-changing offering helps organizations reliably improve efficiency, accuracy and the speed of document processing. At a glance, Hyland IDP includes:

Alfresco platform releases

With the Q4 releases across Hyland’s Alfresco platform, customers can experience significant updates. From new customizations options for creating bespoke user experiences to platform enhancements that simplify solution deployment and optimize ongoing administration, the latest Alfresco platform updates will drive productivity and usability.

Notable enhancements include:

• Elasticsearch support throughout the platform (including Alfresco PaaS), so developers can streamline search operations while allowing end users to quickly find information throughout the enterprise, regardless of where it is stored
• New and improved Alfresco Digital Workspace options and controls that enable engaging and efficient user experiences that drive user productivity and streamline user tasks
• Improved transparency between Alfresco Content and Process Services, which allows both administrators and end users to understand the relationships between content and related workflows

Nuxeo Platform enhancements

In this latest release, customers receive enhanced capabilities to Hyland’s Nuxeo Platform, including automating content cleanup, providing a flexible governance approach, supporting compound documents and new connectors.

Other enhancements include:

• Flexible retention, so customers can choose between “flexible” and “enforced” retention models when creating rules
• Orphan binaries cleanup at scale, which ensures easy cleanup on repositories with billion-plus document repositories such as Azure or GCP alternative cloud platforms
• The media manipulation add-on for Nuxeo Web UI, which will save customers hours during their asset creation process by editing directly within the Nuxeo DAM system instead of relying on third-party tools
• The Nuxeo Online Services — User Management Rebuild, which provides capabilities for customers to self-service their configuration for 100-plus developers and 1,000-plus projects, through the online configuration service

New integrations for OnBase

Hyland 365 Outlook Office Add-In
This new Outlook Office Add-in for Hyland’s OnBase platform provides capabilities to import emails and included attachments as a single file into the OnBase content repository. When subscribed to Microsoft 365 and using the Office Outlook application, email files can be imported easily and seamlessly for both Windows and Mac users.

The Hyland 365 Outlook Office Add-in is the first product to use Hyland’s Metadata Content Abstraction (MCA). This provides the option for customers to expand into other repositories.

OnBase Integration for Encompass®
Hyland’s OnBase Integration for Encompass® saves mortgage lenders time and valuable IT resources. This prebuilt and tested integration with the Encompass® loan origination system by ICE Mortgage Technology™ delivers secure and automated loan document archiving.

Hyland Healthcare enhancements

Cloud-Based Enterprise Imaging SaaS solution
By adopting cloud-based enterprise imaging (EI) solutions, customers can benefit by:

NilRead’s multimodal pure zero footprint enterprise diagnostic viewer continues to enhance viewing tools and imaging workflows. With the latest release, NilRead delivers key features to add additional workflow efficiencies when accessing medical images.

Key updates include:

• Enhanced tech note workflows for better communications with radiologists
• A timeline heat map to better ascertain patient imaging trends over time
• UI changes that streamline steps required to share images
• QC toolbar
• PT/CT fusion indicator on the images
• Region of Interest (ROI) to include minimum value

Key mammography updates include:

• Key indicators on the breast images
• Enhanced reading interpretation by the mapping of rote keyboard functions based on NilRead workflow to the mammography-specific keyboard
