What will happen at the 2025 Hyland Hackathon?
The Hyland Hackathon is a competition where students team up to build cool software projects over the course of a weekend. The word “hackathon” means hacking marathon – but it’s not about breaking into mainframes or anything like that. It’s all about building something new with code! Teams start coding on Saturday morning, and don’t stop until Sunday evening… except to participate in fun activities and workshops along the way (and, maybe, sleep). Hyland employees will be on-hand to guide students through the creation of their projects, and provide mentorship and support. At the end of the event, there will be a showcase where teams will display the great work they’ve done, and awards will be given for various categories. The event is completely free of charge, and food and beverage will be provided throughout the weekend.
