Hyland's team
Founded in 1991, Hyland was born from the vision of Packy Hyland and Miguel Zubizarreta, two pioneers who aimed to revolutionize how businesses managed their information.
Beginning in Westlake, Ohio, where its headquarters stand to this day, Hyland embarked on its journey with a small yet determined team. These early Hylanders were motivated, innovative and hardworking, and often burned the midnight oil fueled by their passion for Hyland’s purpose. Little did they know, this tenacious team was laying the groundwork for what would ultimately evolve into a leading force in the global tech industry.
Over the years as Hyland expanded its workforce across 25+ countries around the globe, it recognized that its success was intricately tied to the well-being and engagement of its employees. Thus, the company invested heavily in fostering a culture that empowers its workforce. This commitment led to the implementation of numerous programs and resources designed to support Hylanders in achieving their fullest potential.

Mentoring program: Hyland’s Mentoring Circles program allows employees to develop specific competencies through the insight, perspective and support of mentors and small peer groups.

PTO available on day 1: Employees have usable PTO starting their first day on the job. First-year employees receive 120 hours (15 days), plus eight holidays and a floating holiday.

401(k) matching: Hyland matches 50% of every dollar, up to 6%, of employees’ 401(k) contribution.
