Hyland announced it was named a winner of the 2022 Workday Partner Innovation Awards in the Office of Human Resources Category.

The 2022 Workday Partner Innovation Awards honor select Workday Services and Software partners for their expertise in and commitment to accelerating innovation to customers while extending key Workday solutions. Hyland was selected for its Content Services for Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solution, which provides document capture, storage and governance capabilities for content associated with employee data such as resumes, benefits documents, I-9 forms (identity and employment authorization), incident reports, employment agreements, completed performance reviews and more. This solution was built using Workday Extend.

Workday HCM is a unified system that helps enable organizations to make faster decisions, gain operational visibility, prepare for future talent shifts and build effective teams. Workday Extend provides organizations with a platform and tools to build and deploy new digital business capabilities that run within Workday with speed and confidence.

By storing employee-related documents in Hyland’s Content Services platform, Workday customers can remove the information silos spread across file shares, network drives or document management systems that are disconnected from Workday. This disconnect means that Workday users must leave their Workday sessions to find employee-related documents within either unfamiliar or unknown systems. Furthermore, employee content stored in these other locations is typically not properly managed, creating security risks for the access and sharing of content by unauthorized parties. Additional benefits that Hyland’s solution offers to Workday customers include:

  • Intelligent data capture of documents: Hyland content services can identify a document by type, such as an I-9 form, and intelligently extract the necessary data from it, which reduces data entry.
  • Auto-redaction of documents captured: This feature is used to secure document details like social security numbers when needed to share with certain parties.
  • Lifecycle management: Hyland content services can manage the entire lifecycle of employee documents — from creation, to sharing, to retiring content based on organizational business rules and policies.
