OneContent™ Mobile Deficiency Completion

The OneContent™ Mobile Deficiency Completion Mobile Application (“Application”) is developed by Hyland Software, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, “Hyland” “us” or “we”) and provides you with certain services, authorized by the entity which provided you with access to this Application (“Institution”), such as access to your Institution's servers and databases.
The Institution is the controller and operator of the Application and therefore determines how to handle any individually identifiable information (“Personal Information”) collected through the Application. Hyland does not receive Personal Information from the Application to use for its own purposes. If Hyland receives any Personal Information collected in connection with the Application, it does so directly from your Institution, in the role of a service provider to your Institution, for example, to provide technical support. Hyland’s processing of Personal Information in its role as a service provider is governed by the applicable agreement between Hyland and your Institution.
This Application Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies only to information collected by the Application and does not apply to your use of other Hyland services, including other Hyland websites, web-based products, or mobile applications. Please refer to the applicable terms of use, privacy policy, or license for information regarding the terms and conditions applicable to your use of those products.
Personal Information Collection
Information Collected by Your Institution
Your Institution is responsible for configuration of the Application and controls the Personal Information collected through the Application. For example, depending on how your Institution configures the Application, you might be required to provide the following Personal Information about yourself to the Application:
User name, password and PIN to access your account
In addition, the configuration of the Application will allow you to provide Personal Information about other people, for example: Patient, prescription or claim information to run queries in your Institution's database; or User behavioral information, such as your IP address, operating system, and device event information (such as login/logout info, crashes, and navigation activity).
Please note, due to the fact that the Institution is the controller and operator of the Application, either you or your Institution must provide any notice required under applicable law to third parties whose Personal Information you provide to the Application.
If you have questions about the types of information your Institution collects through this Application, please contact your Institution directly. Hyland, as the developer of this Application does not collect Personal Information from this Application.
Personal Information Collected By Tracking Technologies
The Application collects user behavioral information through technologies, which it shares with the Institution and with Hyland. For example, the Application may use technologies such as server logs and local storage to collect and store content information and preferences. The user behavioral information the Application shares with Hyland does not include Personal Information.
Depending on how your Institution configures the Application, the Application may also collect, and share with your Institution, information, such as your IP address, operating system, and device event information (such as login/logout info, crashes, and navigation activity).
"Do Not Track" Signals
Some web browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature. This feature allows you to tell websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked over time and across websites. These features are not yet uniform across browsers and not broadly supported. This application currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” features. Use of Personal Information
Personal Information collected by this Application is used by your Institution in accordance with its policies and procedures. If you have questions about how your Institution uses the information it collects through this Application, please contact your Institution directly.
Sharing of Personal Information
This Application shares the information, including any Personal Information, you provide with your Institution. If you have questions about how your Institution shares the information it collects through this Application, please contact your Institution directly.
Personal Information Protection
This Application is designed to maintain reasonable and appropriate technical controls to protect Personal Information collected in accordance with this Policy, but the configuration of the Application is the responsibility of the Institution to whom the Application is licensed. Any sensitive Personal Information (e.g., protected health information) transmitted from the Application will be transmitted in an encrypted form using the HTTPS communication protocol. Notwithstanding the Application’s security safeguards, it is impossible to guarantee 100% security in all circumstances.
If you have any questions about security or have reason to believe that your interaction with the Application is no longer secure (for example, you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), you must immediately notify us of the problem by contacting Hyland at [email protected].
Personal Information Retention
Other than your user credentials, this Application does not store Personal Information on your device. The Personal Information collected by the Application is transmitted to your Institution and is stored according to your Institution's privacy policies and procedures. Your Institution, not Hyland, determines how long that information is retained. If you have questions about how your Institution’s record retention policy, please contact your Institution directly.
Additionally, Hyland will retain the de-identified information we collect as reasonably useful for commercial purposes, or as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Hyland does not collect Personal Information from this Application.
Your Choice
You may exercise your choice to discontinue information collection by this Application at any time. To exercise this choice use the standard uninstall processes that are available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application store. Additionally, if you would like to review, edit, or update your Personal Information collected through the Application, please contact your Institution directly.
Children's Privacy
This Application is not intended for children, nor is it targeted to children under the age of thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 through this Application, and if we learn that we have received information from a visitor under the age of 13, we will delete such information in accordance with applicable law.
Changes to this Policy
We may change this Policy from time to time as new versions of this Application are released. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy whenever you use this Application to stay informed about our information practices. If we materially change this Policy in a way that affects how we use or disclose your Personal Information, we will provide a prominent notice and the effective date of the changes before making them.
