Hyland’s latest intelligent content solution updates include key automation, back-office enhancements

Additional advancements include Alfresco support for Hyland Experience Automate, enabling deeper automation and orchestration of enterprise capabilities

Hyland, the leading global provider of intelligent content solutions, has released important enhancements across its intelligent content solutions portfolio, including key updates for its Alfresco offering and extensive feature additions for key accounts payable solutions.

With these updates, Hyland’s Alfresco and Hyland Experience Automate now enable solution builders to create content-driven automation and orchestration of enterprise services, helping users streamline processes, improve user productivity and accelerate time to value.

Alfresco

Together with the latest enhancements, Alfresco and Hyland Experience Automate can:

  • Enhance cross-functional usability across essential business systems, including CRMs, ERPs and collaboration tools.
  • Intelligently automate processes, resulting in reduced costs and better productivity organization-wide.
  • Simplify content-centric process management with low-code automation, enabling rapid development and deployment of dynamic apps in the cloud.

Other enhancements to Alfresco extend its leading security and governance capabilities, including: 

  • Support for Hyland Identity and Access Management services and full OIDC/OAUTH2 compliance.
  • Simplify the process for applying and automating legal holds for large groups of documents, including support for Hyland RPA automation.
  • Protect your sensitive information with enhanced security and encryption of metadata values and stored passwords.

Web UI Framework enhancements

Hyland’s Web UI Framework enhancements introduce additional features that simplify the creation and customization of applications, making it accessible to nontechnical users who will find:

  • Enhanced OnBase functionality with new features and improved user interactions.
  • Improved interaction with system data for users who are external to OnBase.

AP Automation for Oracle JD Edwards enhancements

The latest version of Hyland’s AP Automation for Oracle JD Edwards includes new features for processing invoices from contract purchase orders (CPOs), such as:

  • Enablement of contract purchase orders to hold back payment from each invoice until it is confirmed that work has been completed.
  • Validation of line items and retainage against JD Edwards for correct and timely payments based on contract agreements.

Brainware for Invoices

Updates to Brainware for Invoices transform Brainware into a standalone processing engine for capturing and extracting invoice data, then passing that data straight through to OnBase or Perceptive Content. Notable outcomes of this update include:

  • A no-touch solution that ensures validation happens within one system.
  • Direct passing of validation-required metadata for invoices to either OnBase or Perceptive Content.
  • An intelligent system whose accuracy increases as it learns, leading to better invoice data capture results.
  • Less administration and validation; more straight-through processing of invoices.
  • Better data capture results for service-type line items.
  • Compatibility with Brainware ALM (Learnset Manager) to further improve data extraction.
  • Enhanced support for SAP and Workday securing settings, which will help reduce reprocessing when ERP credentials change.
