New city-specific lists measure region’s employers by factors such as ability to advance, skills growth, gender diversity
Hyland has been recognized as part of the 2021 LinkedIn Top Companies in Cleveland-Akron-Canton, through which the social media company identified the best companies in the region where employees can grow their careers.
As part of a new city-specific series of lists LinkedIn debuted in 10 growing markets, it measured Northeast Ohio companies in seven pillars related to career advancement:
Ability to advance
Skills growth
Company stability
External opportunity
Company affinity
Gender diversity
Educational background
“For 30 years, our employees have driven our business forward by innovating and providing great service to our customers,” said Debbie Connelly, Hyland senior vice president and chief people officer. “We innovate together to create a growth-oriented, supportive, inclusive work environment that leads the industry in collaborative partnering, positive workplace culture and customer success.”
After several strategic acquisitions over the last 18 months, Hyland now employs over 4,000 people in 39 locations – including around 2,000 in Northeast Ohio.
In April, Hyland also was named one of Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Technology™ by Great Place to Work®, marking the fifth time in the last six years Hyland has received that honor. In June, Hyland was named to Cleveland.com’s list of Top Workplaces in Northeast Ohio, a list developed based on employee survey responses.
Hyland is also noted as a technology leader by industry-leading analyst firms, recognized as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for 11 straight years, and most recently was named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Content Platforms in June.
