Hyland named Leader in Omdia for Content Services
Hyland recognized for strong automation, open source and AI capabilities
Hyland, a leading global content services provider, has been named a leader in the 2023 Omdia: Universe for Content Services Platforms.
The global research firm noted in its analysis Hyland’s proficiency in “automation and cloud-native, fully-featured open-source content services platforms with strong artificial intelligence capabilities.”
The report also specifically noted Hyland’s capabilities in key areas that customers are currently utilizing, including capture, governance, process automation, case management, collaboration and analytics; Hyland’s “strongest areas are search, document management and its content services platforms,” the report noted.
Hyland’s content services platforms, including OnBase, Alfresco, Nuxeo and Perceptive Content, were evaluated. Its portfolio of products expertly serve a diverse array of customer needs in a variety of verticals, and through the customer’s choice of an on-prem or Hyland Cloud deployment.
Other Hyland offerings that the Omdia Universe report highlighted as key to customer success are Hyland Experience Capture, a web-based document scanning, classification and data extraction tool that provides intelligent capture facilities, and Hyland RPA, which Hyland customers – including many in insurance and financial services – are using to eliminate the need for staff to execute mundane, repetitive tasks, and shifting those to robots instead. Staff, then, are freed to focus their skills and time on more strategic efforts.
The Omdia report also noted Hyland’s innovative product roadmap, through which Hyland Experience -- the company’s next-generation, cloud-native services platform that will deliver feature-rich and rapidly deployable cloud-based content services – will soon serve customers.
