Hyland named a Leader in IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Software 2023-2024 Vendor Assessment
IDC MarketScape recognizes Hyland’s extensive capability integration functionality and library, platform and capability ease of use
Hyland, a leading global content services provider, has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Software 2023-2024 Vendor Assessment (doc #US49988723, November 2023).
Hyland’s portfolio, including Hyland IDP, offers advanced intelligent document processing that helps organizations automate and accelerate data processes, reduce errors and costs, and free their workforce to contribute more high-value work.
Hyland’s intelligent document processing capabilities deliver AI-powered document capture, separation, classification and intelligent data extraction from structured, semi-structured and unstructured documents, as well as advanced analytics to enable data interpreting and support decision making throughout the organization.
The IDC MarketScape noted, “Hyland’s current IDP customer portfolio includes a range of customer archetypes. Hyland has demonstrated IDP success with businesses of all sizes and across multiple verticals. This is noteworthy, especially as a considerable portion of IDP vendors are focused on a single or small subset of verticals.”
The report also notes Hyland’s extensive integration functionality and library: “Hyland’s channel investments are noteworthy and include integrations and plug-ins from both horizontal technology providers and vertical- and domain-specific partners. These integrations greatly increase the effectiveness of operationalizing IDP data within a customer’s given use case workflow and technology environment.” Hyland believes these attributes are a consistent strength, as highlighted in many analyst evaluations across Hyland’s portfolio.
The IDC MarketScape also highlighted, “Customers and partners give Hyland high marks for the ease of use of its platform. Especially noteworthy were comments regarding its logic and flow for document ingestion, classification, and extraction, as well as dashboard building and customization.”
“Innovation has been our driving force since 1991, and intelligent document processing has been a key part of our innovative roadmap – and a key part of our customers’ digital evolution,” said Leonard Kim, Hyland’s chief product officer. “We believe this report is another indication of the value we are providing to enterprise organizations with our IDP capabilities, and we’re eager to continue the momentum we’ve achieved by extending IDP deployment to more of the customers we serve.”
