Executives, product experts provide insight into digital evolution trends and tips; 2023 event set for Las Vegas
Leading content services provider Hyland hosted nearly 2,000 business executives, IT experts and more at its annual signature event, CommunityLIVE, last week at the venerable Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville.
Attendees chose from over 250 sessions focused on Hyland innovation, business transformation, Hyland platforms (OnBase, Perceptive Content, Alfresco and Nuxeo), and vertical-specific topics, including those facing customers in healthcare, government, higher ed and other industries.
Additionally, keynotes from Hyland executives and other thought leaders punctuated each day’s events. Hyland president and CEO Bill Priemer kicked off the event with a wide-lens view of the content services industry, detailing the trends industry analysts are seeing in the space – and how Hyland is meeting those challenges.
“Our solutions combine advanced technology, deep vertical expertise, and users’ critical design input to deliver the right information, at the right moment, wherever it’s needed,” Priemer said. “And by empowering customers’ workforces with information and process insight in the context of the business applications they already use, we enable them to deliver better, faster, more impactful experiences to the customers they serve. But, we’re not satisfied. We are focused on advancing our portfolio, accelerating our pace of innovation, and improving the experience we provide.”
Later, chief product officer John Phelan and a host of Hyland innovation leaders, including chief innovation officer Sam Babic and others, detailed for attendees the latest enhancements in Hyland’s product portfolio – and what is next.
“We’ve become a multi-product portfolio company with a breadth of capabilities that go far beyond basic content management,” Phelan said. “Organic growth through new product development and strategic acquisitions have allowed Hyland to become a content services provider that not only provides products customers need today, but gives them the flexibility to add capabilities they will need tomorrow and into the future.”
Hyland chief commercial officer and executive vice president Ed McQuistion detailed how Hyland has deepened its commitment to its customers’ experience by aligning internal teams to create a “One Hyland” experience. He then hosted “Late Morning with Ed McQuiston,” a “Late Night”-style roundtable featuring three Hyland customers: PVH, The Match Group and South African insurer aYo.
“At Hyland, we recognize that expectations are changing. In a cloud-driven economy, the level of expectations for service that customers have has risen,” McQuiston said. “Our focus as a group is improving our processes to enhance responsiveness, the levels of services we provide and new levels we will offer, and to enhance the value of customers’ investment.”
Attendees also heard the inspirational story of Alison Levine. An accomplished speaker who led the first American Women’s Everest Expedition, Levine also has climbed the highest peak on each continent and skied to the North and South poles. Her book, “On the Edge,” and her keynote relate her experiences from those adventures and the lessons she’s learned during them to the business world.
In a post-event survey, attendees detailed how the breakout sessions and keynote speakers will help them with their organizations’ digital evolutions:
CommunityLIVE 2023 is set for Oct. 1-5 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.
