Hyland announces 2024 Innovation Award winners at CommunityLIVE
Five forward-thinking organizations recognized for leveraging Hyland’s intelligent content solutions to deliver exceptional experiences to those they serveHyland, the leading global provider of intelligent content solutions, announced at its CommunityLIVE user event winners of its annual Innovation Awards.
2024 winners include:
- Digital visionary: Erie Insurance Group, which uses Hyland’s complete enterprise platform —including solutions for HR and claims — manages 7 million policies with 4,000 active users in its system. Among the United States’ largest property/casualty insurers, Erie is one of the first Hyland customers to complete a cloud-to-cloud integration between Hyland Cloud and Guidewire; it also is the first Hyland customer to transact the Hyland Cloud on the AWS Marketplace. Erie is working closely with Hyland to replace IBM content manager.
- Environmental/social impact: Officials at Ada County, Idaho, whose Bridge Youth and Family Resource Center was established to divert low-risk youth from the juvenile justice system, implemented a customized solution that streamlined referrals, managed case data and enhanced communication with stakeholders, resulting in improved service delivery and positive outcomes for over 275 youth and families since March 2023.
- Transformative solution: Turks and Caicos Islands Government uses OnBase to solve delays caused by manual processes, long service wait times, fragmented data and security concerns. Officials modernized their recordkeeping by digitizing documents and automating workflows, resulting in faster processing times, better data security, reduced costs and improved accessibility for citizens.
- Innovative partner: iik Technologies partnered with Banesco Dominican Republic to address remote operation needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. iik and Banesco implemented Alfresco Content Services, providing centralized document management and advanced filtering while mitigating code dependency issues with a user-friendly configuration module that reduced implementation time and costs by up to 90%.
- Innovative solution: Baptist Health implemented robotic process automation within its OnBase deployment to remedy inefficiencies with redundant manual processes. Doing so led to significant time savings: One process, for example, saved each manager 180 hours, or 23 work days, per year. Bots also were integral in supporting Baptist’s migration to the Hyland Cloud, reducing outage times by 25%.
